Job Description:
The Field Service Installer will provide installation and commissioning of Medical Device products in facilities such as Hospitals, Surgery Centers, VA facilities, etc.
The Field Service Installer will collaborate with Installation Project Manager to schedule product installation in coordination with equipment delivery, customer availability, and construction schedules.
Territory is north New Jersey, Middletown, Allentown, PA and day travel with advanced scheduling of projects.
Company van, uniform and tools provided.
Paid Training at company location Advancement possibilities Duties and Responsibilities Prior to installation, verify rough-in dimensions and utilities are adequate to meet equipment specifications.
Ensure doorways, elevators, and hallways are sufficient to allow equipment transport to installation site.
Verify equipment delivery per order.
Perform installation of company products, including, but not limited to uncrating; assembling; setting or lifting product into place; leveling; connecting utilities; and testing unit.
Complete service documentation electronically, including Service Requests, Installation Start Up Checklists, Photos, Expense Reports Daily Installation Progress Reports, and email communication.
Test unit with live utilities and initiate a basic cycle to verify the integrity of the installation work performed.
Provide daily email updates to keep all parties informed and ensure timely in-service, hand off to local technicians.
Ensure Customer satisfaction through post-installation activities to include disposal of all associated packing and shipping crate material, ensuring equipment is wiped down and addressing any questions/issues before leaving the site.
Maintains courteous and professional demeanor when working with customers, contractors, management, and fellow employees.
Utilize customer protocols when entering and exiting facilities and abide by all company and Customer Health Safety protocols and procedures.
Maintain tools.
Submit an annual inventory to assigned manager.
Maintain an installation materials inventory and consumable products in line with scheduled installation activity.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Associates Degree in mechanical, construction or related installation content, plus one year of related experience OR High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of three (3) years of related work experience, which may include vocational/apprenticeship/company training programs.
Excellent interpersonal and Customer communication skills; verbal and written Strong technical and troubleshooting skills Proficiency in computers and Windows software.
Strong data entry skills with extreme attention to detail.
Plumbing knowledge to include but not limited to installation of copper, black iron, PVC piping preferred Electrical knowledge to include but not limited to connection of 110VAC and 3 phase line connections preferred Strong mechanical skills with experience using multiple powered hand tools.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, excellent time management skills Ability to work as a team and independently without supervision Flexibility to handle multiple and changing priorities Valid driver s license is required Why Kelly ?
